• Account information: email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth)
• Questionnaire answers: your citizenship, destination, and immigration preferences
• Saved pathways: visa roadmaps you save and notes you add
• Usage analytics: page views, feature usage, and navigation patterns (via PostHog)
• Technical data: browser type, device type, and general location (country-level)

Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how people use Settled and improve the experience. We respect the Do Not Track (DNT) browser setting — if you have DNT enabled, no analytics data will be collected. We also use Vercel Analytics for performance monitoring.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide personalized immigration roadmaps based on your situation
• To save your progress and pathways
• To send you notifications about policy changes affecting your saved pathways (if opted in)
• To improve our product and fix issues

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon account deletion, all your pathways, notes, and questionnaire answers will be permanently removed.
